Fashion East SS17 LFW, supported by Topshop

Day Two of London Fashion Week kicked off with attending my first ever shows and presentations – and what an absolute treat it was.

First up for the day was Fashion East SS17 supported by Topshop.

Held in the ever enchanting Old Spitalfields Market, my friend and I dashed on to the tube from Soho to make it in time. Cool music, free health snacks and enough Insta-worthy backdrops to shake a selfie perfect stick at, it was clear this was going to be an incredible first-time experience.

And oh my, it did not disappoint…

Matty Bovan’s collection was punk, fluoro, edgy, bright, eclectic and feminine all at once in a flash of neon brights down the runway.

Next up was the gorgeous collection from A.V Robertson. Showing off delicate florals on a backdrop of punchy, toxic colours, her troop of fierce models, were a force to be reckoned with.

Last up were strong lines and stunning details from Richard Malone’s collection. Bright colour pops of orange and blue with a uniformed vibe led to a sensational and inspiring close to the show.

In what seemed like a whirlwind of colour, sound, camera flashes and of course incredible models, my first fashion week show was over in a brilliantly beautiful flash.

On a side note: kudos to models who can strut down a runway looking spectacular in stilettos… you are literally goddesses in my book…

I’ll be posting my next Presentation (the wonderful Edeline Lee) shortly so make sure you stay tuned!

Until next time lovelies x
