Fun fact – I bought this suede button down skirt for my first ever blogger event in London last year, meeting the wonderful Lorna Luxe. I went on my own and was utterly terrified!
Turns out she was lovely and the event had free booze so I was okay… a little buzzed, but okay…
I always thought of suede as an autumnal fabric – visions of chunky knits, good books and chai tea lattes come to mind.
But since having to cull my clothing collection to a minimalist wardrobe (read forced to get rid of anything I couldn’t fit in my travel backpack or at my mums house and cue me sitting in a pile of clothes sobbing like some sort of depressed dragon… ) I’ve had to be a little bit creative with my outfit choices…
And it turns out I blooming love it!
Suede skirt & Necktie: New Look
Super soft and airy, this skirt is perfect paired with a simple tee and fun neckerchief for Sunday brunch. (Side note if anyone is Streatham way you should totally check out Brooks & Gao – seriously delish…). Come autumn I will be adding some chunky knits, tights and boots but for now, I am digging this little transitional number.
This pretty is actually last season New Look but I’ve linked my other fave transitional skirts below;
Until next time lovelies x
