The Cutest Embroidered Clutch Bag…

Since we have been away I have had to learn how to live with a capsule wardrobe… aka everything I managed to stuff in to my backpack! But now our sights are set on home (not long now!) I decided it was only fair I reward my minimalist mindset with a new addition – and what better trend bandwagon to jump on than the latest in boho beauty – the embroidered clutch …

I have been spoilt for choice whilst travelling around Asia with so many gorgeous embroidered fabrics around every corner. But with a dwindling budget and even more dwindling luggage space I started to stalk the stalls for a little slice of embroidered heaven I could call mine.

This particular beauty was found at the Arts Market in Bali – a bustling market place full of hawkers selling their various wares – and I must admit, it was love at first sight (with a dash of hardcore haggling thrown in for good measure of course!). With summer coming up when we get back… yes I know I have high hopes for Britain… this bag is perfect for adding a bit of boho glam to a simple white cotton dress and espadrilles (already spied a Zara pair with my name on them) or adding a pop of colour to a #allblackeverything ensemble.

It’s big enough to fit in all the essentials but small enough that it doesn’t put your shoulder out of joint carrying it all day – my perfect embroidered delight!

Side note: got interrupted by the cutest little doggie that wanted to say hi!!
